BOGOR – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of Djuanda University (Unida) attended and actively participated in an inspiring discussion forum with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia, Andi Amran Sulaiman. The event, which involved BEM representatives from across Indonesia, focused on discussing various strategic issues related to national agriculture, food security, and youth empowerment to build a more modern and sustainable Indonesian agricultural sector.
This forum served as a strategic space for students to convey their aspirations, innovative ideas, and real-world challenges faced on the ground directly to the government. Responding to this, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman provided valuable feedback and reaffirmed the government's concrete commitment to supporting innovation and the active involvement of youth in the agrarian sector.
Through this collaboration, it is hoped that a strong synergy will be created among the government, universities, and students to jointly achieve food sovereignty and a more advanced Indonesia in the field of agriculture.
