The Fisheries Student Association of Universitas Djuanda (HIMARIDA) from the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture (FAPERTA), held its 2025/2026 Work Meeting on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Room B.312, Building B, FAPERTA UNIDA. The event carried the theme, “Moving Together to Build an Impactful Student Organization.”
The work meeting marked the beginning of HIMARIDA’s new management period in formulating the organization’s direction and programs for the upcoming year. Various agendas were discussed, including presentations of work program plans from each division, suggestions and feedback sessions, and the establishment of flagship programs aimed at enhancing the quality of HIMARIDA while developing the potential of fisheries students.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FAPERTA UNIDA, Dr. Dudi Lesmana. In his remarks, he encouraged students to continuously develop their capacities through student organizational activities.
“The steps taken today will determine future success. Therefore, students must remain enthusiastic about developing themselves through organizational activities,” he stated.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Aquaculture Study Program at FAPERTA UNIDA, Dr. Ananingtyas Septia Darmarini, explained that an ideal organization can be likened to the human body, where every part works together collaboratively to move productively.
“A good organization is one that is able to coordinate, collaborate, and strengthen one another in carrying out every activity,” she said.
She expressed hope that through this activity, HIMARIDA would become a more organized, systematic, and beneficial organization for both the association and the personal development of its members.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the HIMARIDA Work Meeting Committee, Norma Indah, expressed appreciation to all participants who attended and actively contributed throughout the event. She hoped the activity would strengthen solidarity, increase the sense of responsibility among the administrators, and encourage HIMARIDA to become an active, inspiring student organization that creates a positive impact both on campus and in society.
“Thank you to all HIMARIDA members who attended and actively participated in this activity. Hopefully, this work meeting will become the first step toward building a better organization,” she remarked.
In line with this, the Chairperson of HIMARIDA, M. Abdan Syakura, emphasized that the work meeting was not merely a formal organizational agenda, but also an important momentum for determining the future direction and goals of the organization.
“This work meeting serves as the first step in determining the organization’s future direction so that HIMARIDA can continue to grow and create a positive impact,” he explained.
In addition to the work meeting agenda, the activity also featured an upgrading session for HIMARIDA administrators and members through a sharing session themed “Active Communication, Productive Organization,” delivered by Dewi Anggrayni. During the session, participants received insights on the importance of building effective communication in order to create a productive, solid, and collaborative organization.
