BOGOR – The Faculty of Agriculture (Faperta) and the Faculty of Halal Food Sciences (FIPHAL) at Universitas Djuanda (Unida) Bogor demonstrated their tangible commitment to protecting the younger generation by attending the "Training of Trainers for the Prevention of Food and Illicit Drug Abuse" (TOT CEPOT). This strategic event was organized by the Bureau of Food and Drug Control (Balai POM) in Bogor on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Republic of Indonesia Defense University (UNHAN RI) in Sentul, Bogor.
This event is part of the National Action for the Prevention of Certain Drug Abuse (OOT). The national agenda is designed to strengthen cross-sector synergy and collaboration involving the government, academia, communities, and related institutions to break the chain of illicit food and drug abuse in Indonesia.
Universitas Djuanda Bogor sent its top delegates from both faculties to the event. The Faculty of Agriculture was represented by Dr. Dudi Lesmana, S.Pi., M.Si. and Ikhsan Qodri Pramartaa, S.Pt., M.Si. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Halal Food Sciences was represented by Dr. Erna Puspasari, S.Si., M.Si., Titi Rohmayanti, S.Si., M.Si., and Raden Siti Nurlaela, A.Md.Ak., S.T.P., M.T.P.
The active participation of Unida Bogor's academic community in this TOT CEPOT is concrete evidence of the university's commitment to supporting public education. Through this training, Unida's lecturers and academics are prepared to become trainers who will educate the campus environment and the wider community about the dangers of illicit drugs and food.
This preventive measure is expected to strengthen sustainable cross-sector collaboration while safeguarding the younger generation so they can grow into a healthy, productive, and highly competitive generation for the future of the nation.
