Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah for the achievement of the Faculty of Agriculture, Djuanda University, in winning a Silver Medal at the International Research Project Olympiad (IRPrO) 2024.
The team was led by Anggi Robiatu Rohman (A.2210939) from the Aquaculture Study Program, with members Yuyun Puspitasari (A.2310778) from the Agrotechnology Study Program and Nirbita Anindya Arifin (A.2310768) from the Agribusiness Study Program. The team was supervised by Dr. Eko Rini Farastuti, M.Si.
The Faculty of Agriculture team presented an innovation focused on urban aquaponic technology, developed with an automatic water management system and alternative energy sourced from solar panels.
The project was submitted under the title:
“Urban Aquaponic Technology with an Automatic Water Management System and Solar Panels as Alternative Energy.”
This innovation offers a promising solution to address urban food security and energy efficiency in areas with limited space.
