BOGOR – The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Djuanda (Faperta Unida) continues its commitment to enhancing academic quality and expanding its partnership network. Most recently, Faperta Unida initiated a strategic partnership exploration with the ICBB Foundation Laboratory as a concrete effort to strengthen the synergy between academia and industry.
The key meeting to initiate this collaboration took place on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The agenda was attended directly by the leadership ranks of Faperta Unida, including the Dean of Faperta, Dr. Abdullah Baharun, S.Pt., M.Si., the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Dr. Dudi Lesmana, S.Pi., M.Si., and the Vice Dean of Non-Academic Affairs, Arti Yoesdiarti, S.P., M.M.
The synergy being explored between Faperta Unida and the ICBB Foundation Laboratory covers several strategic areas, including:
Laboratory Development: Optimization of laboratory facilities to support academic activities and scientific testing.
Student Internship Programs: Providing a platform for students to gain direct, hands-on work experience in a professional industry setting.
Research Collaboration: Joint cutting-edge research projects between university academics and laboratory practitioners.
Guest Lecturer Programs: Inviting experts and practitioners from the ICBB Foundation into the classroom to share up-to-date knowledge and technological advancements.
This strategic move aims to serve as a main pillar supporting the improvement of educational quality, boosting research productivity, and elevating graduate competence—particularly for the Agrotechnology Study Program—so that students are better prepared to compete in the professional workforce.
Through this collaboration, Faperta Unida hopes to foster a more adaptive educational ecosystem where classroom theories seamlessly integrate with technological developments and the practical needs of today's industry.
