Djuanda University Welcomes BAN-PT Assessors for the Accreditation Site Visit of the Aquaculture Study Program

The Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture (FAPERTA), Djuanda University (UNIDA) welcomed an On-Site Assessment (AL) visit from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), which took place over two days, Monday–Tuesday, July 21–22, 2025.

The assessment activities were officially opened in the ATJ Room at UNIDA and attended by UNIDA Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H., UNIDA Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, Chairperson of the Foundation for the Center of Islamic Education Studies in Indonesia (YPSPIAI) Dr. Nova Monaya, S.H., M.Kn., Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Dr. Ir. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si., and other university leaders.

The event was also attended by two BAN-PT assessors, Prof. Ir. Muhammad Iqbal Djawad, M.Sc., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Johannes Hutabarat, M.Sc., who were tasked with evaluating and verifying the documents and implementation of the Aquaculture Study Program in person.

In his opening remarks, UNIDA Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H. expressed his appreciation and full support from the entire university leadership for this assessment process. He emphasized that this on-site assessment marks an important milestone in the effort to improve quality and accreditation in higher education institutions, especially for the Aquaculture Study Program.

The assessment was conducted in a conducive atmosphere, including presentations, Q&A sessions, facility reviews, and discussions with lecturers, students, academic staff, and alumni.

It is hoped that through this assessment, the Aquaculture Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture at UNIDA will achieve the best accreditation results and remain committed to producing professional, innovative, and globally-minded graduates.
