Praise be to Allah, at the 2023 Bogor Regency Regional Innovation Showcase (Gelar Inovasi Daerah/GID), students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Djuanda, achieved outstanding success through their cutting-edge innovations. Two innovations submitted by students from this faculty successfully won 2nd and 3rd place in the student innovation category.
Vian Eko Prasetyo (Animal Husbandry Program), under the guidance of drh. Annisa Rahmi, M.Si, presented an innovation titled "Flavored Pasteurized Goat Milk", which secured 2nd place. Equally impressive were Gugus Candella and Prato Widodo Situmorang (Aquaculture Program students), under the supervision of Dr. Eko Rini Farastuti, M.Si, who brought forward their innovation titled "Urban Aquaculture for Ornamental Fish Farming in Limited Spaces: A Profitable and Promising Venture", which earned 3rd place.
This event was organized by the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Bappedalitbang) of Bogor Regency. The 2023 edition marked the 8th year of the GID event, which features nine categories: regional apparatus, subdistricts, villages/urban wards, community health centers, lecturers/researchers, the general public, university students, high school/vocational school students, and junior high school students. The program aims to encourage innovators to continue making impactful contributions across various sectors.
May this recognition serve as a motivation for other students in the Faculty of Agriculture to keep innovating, and may these innovations bring benefit and well-being to the broader society.
