The Faculty of Agriculture (FAPERTA) at Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA) signed a cooperation agreement with the Center for Applied Zoology Research of the Research Organization for Life and Environment at the National Research and Innovation Agency (PRZT-BRIN) on Tuesday (September 2, 2025).
The Dean of FAPERTA UNIDA, Dr. Ir. H. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si, in his remarks, expressed gratitude and hope for this collaboration.
“This is a collaboration between Faperta and the Center for Applied Zoology Research. The collaboration that is still ongoing is research collaboration and the implementation of student final projects. Additionally, collaboration in the field of teaching allows BRIN researchers to serve as guest lecturers, particularly in animal husbandry programs. He said, "
Meanwhile, the Head of the PRZT-BRIN Applied Zoology Research Center, Dr. Delicia Yunita Rahman, M.Si, explained that the collaboration is a continuation of the previously agreed-upon cooperation. Initial cooperation was signed in 2022 and has resulted in various outcomes, such as joint research and publications, as well as the completion of student final projects.
This is a continuation of the collaboration as there are still some research collaboration activities currently underway. The hope is that this collaboration can be enhanced to form an Excellent Research Center, providing more benefits for the world of education.
Dr. Delicia Yunita Rahman, M.Si also explained that PRZT consists of several research groups, including Animal Morphology Structure and Function, Feed Formulation and Composition, Animal Feeding Patterns and Diets, Animal Population Structure and Management, Feed Bioprocessing, and several other research groups. All research groups at PRZT have the opportunity to collaborate with this continued cooperation.
The event continued with a discussion session to discuss the implementation of the cooperation program and future strategic steps in realizing the various research and development programs that had been planned.
