As part of the 39th Anniversary celebrations, Djuanda University (UNIDA) is holding an Innovation Festival (FESVA) titled "Innovation Meets Investment, Society Gets Solutions" on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Building B UNIDA.
This event was attended by the Rector of UNIDA, Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I along with her staff, the Pro-Chancellor of UNIDA, Dr. Abraham Yazdi Martin, S.H., M.Kn, the Head of the Foundation's Business Entity, Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, S.H., LL.M, as well as prospective investors, lecturers, and students within the UNIDA community.
The Vise Rector II and also the Chairperson of the 39th UNIDA Anniversary Committee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zahra Khusnul Lathifah, M.Pd.I., M.C.E, stated that FESVA is a form of synergy among all elements of UNIDA.
"This event features a variety of agendas, ranging from talk shows, bazaars, to exhibitions of innovative student works from UNIDA," he said.
The Rector of UNIDA, Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, explained that FESVA serves as a strategic space to develop and disseminate the benefits of innovations produced by the academic community.
Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I also emphasized that the Ministry of Education and Technology thru the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI) encourages universities to create a real impact on society. This requires support from various parties, including investors, so that the results of innovation can develop and provide broader benefits.
"Alhamdulillah, UNIDA has consistently ranked in the top four in the fields of Community Service (PKM) and research within the LLDIKTI Region IV. Thru this activity, it is hoped that collaboration will be established, bringing together partners and UNIDA innovators," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Foundation's Business Entity, Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, S.H., LL.M, stated that the existence of the Foundation's Business Entity is a strategic step in bridging the academic world with the industrial world.
"This body is present to encourage the implementation of innovative results in the industrial sector. Thus, collaboration between investors and innovators is established, which can strengthen the creative economy ecosystem within the campus environment," he said.
Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos Adiwijaya, S.H., LL.M added that the creative economy movement within higher education institutions has great potential, with various business sectors continuously developing and contributing to economic growth.
