"From the Village for the Nation" KKN Preparation Program – A Collaboration Between the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Djuanda

"Synergizing for Integrated Agriculture Based on Sustainable Information Technology"
This is the theme of the Collaborative Community Service Program (KKN) initiated by the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Djuanda in 2025. On Saturday, March 19, 2025, the KKN preparation session was held in Room 312, 3rd Floor, Building B of the Faculty of Agriculture. The aim of this activity was to prepare students before going into the field, in accordance with work programs tailored to the village's potential.

The briefing included presentations from several speakers. The first speaker, Dr. Ir. Askif, M.Si, delivered a session on recognizing the agricultural ecosystem and potential in the KKN location. The second speaker, M. Encep, S.Kom., M.TI, presented best practices in utilizing information technology in agriculture. The third speaker, Dr. Yudi Wahyudin, S.Pi., M.Si, provided insight on building collaboration for integrated agriculture based on sustainable information technology. The final speaker, Dr. Ir. Riny Kusumawati, shared tips on writing popular articles and reports based on KKN activities.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Computer Science, Dr. Ir. H. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si., MPM, officially opened the session by expressing hope that the collaborative KKN will empower villages through the development of agriculture based on information technology, making them more productive and actively involved in development. The Dean also encouraged students to stay motivated, adaptable, and ready to engage with local communities throughout their KKN placement.
