Bogor, July 23, 2025 — The Faculty of Agriculture (FAPERTA) and the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) at Djuanda University (UNIDA) Bogor held the 2025 Community Service Program (KKN) send-off ceremony. The event took place at the UNIDA campus field on Wednesday (23/07/2025), carrying the theme “From Village to Nation: Synergy for Integrated Agriculture Based on Sustainable Information Technology.”
The ceremony was attended by the university leadership, including UNIDA Rector Dr. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., Vice Rector III Prof. Dr. Rasmitadila, ST., M.Pd., and Vice Rector IV Dr. Yudi Wahyudin, S.Pi., M.Si. Also in attendance were the deans of FAPERTA and FILKOM, Dr. Ir. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si., along with vice deans, field supervisors (DPL), and special guest from the Bogor Regency Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA), Ms. Ratna Pratini, S.P., M.M.
In her opening speech, UNIDA Rector Dr. Siti Pupu Fauziah, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I., encouraged the KKN participants to become ambassadors of change and agents of goodness within the community. She emphasized the importance of integrating tauhid (Islamic monotheism) values into every step of service.“KKN participants must show the community that we are students who uphold tauhid. Apply the 21 tauhid-based character traits in daily life, and use the knowledge you’ve gained in university to help develop the villages,” she urged.
Dean of FAPERTA and FILKOM, Dr. Ir. Himmatul Miftah, M.Si., in her address, called on students to uphold the good name of the university and make the most of KKN as a space for real-world learning. She highlighted the significance of this experience as a valuable life lesson. A representative from BAPPEDA Bogor Regency, Ms. Ratna Pratini, S.P., M.M., also delivered remarks, offering guidance and support for the program. She encouraged students to explore local potentials and make a tangible impact in rural communities.“Students must carry out KKN with full dedication—uncover village potential, understand community needs, and ensure your presence truly benefits the local people,” she stated.
A total of 123 students from FAPERTA and FILKOM are participating in this year’s KKN program, including the regular KKN, the MBKM program, and a special partnership program with BAKAMLA (Indonesian Maritime Security Agency). These students will be deployed to various regions with the primary mission of applying their academic knowledge in real-world activities—such as integrated agricultural mentoring, digital education, technology-based MSME development, and community training in sustainable agriculture and information technology.
Through this collaborative KKN program, FAPERTA and FILKOM contribute to strengthening the competencies and character of future graduates who are not only academically excellent but also socially responsive and capable of making impactful contributions to village development.
